Scale Up Laboratory s.r.o. is small and flexible private CDMO based in the Czech republic. The company offers development services for production of niche generic APIs, orphan drugs, veterinary drugs, advanced intermediates, impurities and speciality chemicals. Our well experienced synthetic/analytical team is able to develop cost effective, scalable and patent non-infringing innovative routes of syntheses in its own laboratories and kilo-lab. The strongest point of Scale Up Laboratory is however the rich practice in the synthesis and purification of complex molecules such as cannabinoids, ergot alkaloids, peptides, nucleotides, nucleosides, carbohydrates, steroids and phosphorus or boron containing drugs.
Our history
The company was founded in 2015 by a group of researchers who left Farmak a.s. from the R&D department. In 2016, an own building was purchased in the former premises of the Sugar Factory. A year later, the first reconstruction work on the laboratory space began. At the end of 2020, the lease on the space of the university was terminated and the company completely moved to new space. In 2023, the reconstruction of the kilo-lab began.
